This course provides detailed instructions, guidance and a practical component (donning a harness and connecting a lifeline for example) regarding safely working at heights.
According to the Ministry of Labour, Working at Heights training is required for individuals who work on a construction project and are required to use any of the following:
a travel restraint system
a fall restricting system
a fall arrest system
a safety net
a work belt
a safety belt
This training must be renewed every 3 years.

Star Training offers a blended learning course which includes both online and in-class instruction. For clients who have not previously taken Working at Heights training, an online course must be completed prior to attending the in-class portion. This online portion takes approximately 3-4 hours to complete. The in-class portion is approximately 4.5 hours.
For those renewing their instruction, you are required to attend the in-class portion only. A copy of the previous Working at Heights is required for registration. Should you no longer have a copy of this card, please contact the Ministry of Labour (1-877-202-0008) and ask for your ‘MOL Learner ID.’ This will be required for registration.
Upon completion, your results will be submitted to the Ministry of Labour and you will receive a card indicating you have completed this course.
